On Friday, 11 September 2026, Venice will become the setting for an exclusive evening combining
timeless elegance with a contemporary international atmosphere. Royal Gentlemen Club, under the
direction of Thomas Misse, will host guests at Ca' Sagredo Hotel for its Gala Dinner & Awards, inspired
by La Dolce Vita. The programme will include the Congress Awards, founded by Anna Stukkert, as well
as a distinguished jewellery presentation by Oliver Weber Collection.
The gala arrives during one of the city's most prominent cultural periods. The 83rd Venice International
Film Festival takes place from 2 to 12 September 2026. Since its establishment in 1932, the festival has
turned Venice annually into an international meeting point for cinema, media and culture. Filmmakers
and stars gather on the Lido for premieres, while journalists, photographers, broadcasters, producers
and industry figures transform the lagoon city into a dynamic centre for storytelling, exposure and
worldwide connections, where heritage, luxury and international creativity meet in an unforgettable
Venetian setting.
Royal Gentlemen Club will leave behind the spectacle of the traditional red carpet, choosing instead the
refined intimacy of a Venetian palazzo. Ca' Sagredo, a 14th-century residence overlooking the Grand
Canal, embodies Venice through its architecture, artworks and magnificent ceremonial spaces. The
setting perfectly suits the evening's vision of Grand Art de Vivre: Black Tie, an exclusive guest circle and
a dinner created for meaningful moments, conversation and discovery. The Congress Awards ceremony will bring an additional dimension of international recognition to the occasion. Eric Adams, New York City's 110th Mayor from 2022 to 2025, will be among the Congress Awards laureates and is expected to accept his distinction in Venice. His professional journey also includes roles as Brooklyn Borough President and New York State Senator.
International guest Alisa Roever, founder of Angels Helpers Foundation, will bring a philanthropic
perspective to the programme. Her participation underlines the broader purpose of the gathering:
bringing together personalities whose influence extends beyond business, status or public visibility and
supports charitable and community-focused initiatives.
The evening's visual identity will be enhanced by Oliver Weber Collection, Official Jewellery Partner of
the event. Its new Dolce Vita Collection draws creative inspiration from Venice, reflecting the city's light,
architecture, water, Carnival and enduring theatrical character. Designed in Austria, the jewellery
introduces new Swarovski® crystal colours while preserving Oliver Weber's signature combination of
femininity, precision and refined handmade detailing.
The evening is designed to feel like more than a traditional gala, offering an intimate Venetian chapter
during Festival week: a historic palace, international personalities, exceptional jewellery, recognition
and philanthropy, united by the unmistakable spirit of La Dolce Vita.
