The Monaco Yacht Show is lending its name and expertise to a new event on the Red Sea: the Red Sea Yacht Show, whose inaugural edition will be held at Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina from October 14 to 17, 2027. The agreement to develop and run the show was signed by Tahaluf and Sela on the sidelines of the 2026 Monaco Yacht Show, in the presence of Prince Albert II of Monaco.
Organisers are aiming high for the first edition, targeting more than 50 superyachts, 150 international exhibitors and over 10,000 visitors, including wealthy and high profile guests from around the world, with vessels on display expected to carry a combined value of more than 3 billion dollars.
Beyond the yachts, tenders and dayboats, the show will bring together the wider world that surrounds luxury yachting, including fine jewellery, collectible art, high end cars, design and cuisine from Michelin starred chefs. The programme will also include yacht viewings, industry meetings, private receptions and experiences built around the destination itself.
The timing is deliberate: the show will run just after the end of the Mediterranean yachting season and ahead of the winter travel season, positioning Jeddah as a complementary rather than competing stop for superyacht owners and crews.
Tahaluf CEO Mike Champion said the Monaco Yacht Show has earned an extraordinary place in the yachting world, and that its choice of Saudi Arabia signals the scale of opportunity in the Red Sea region. Amer Hussain Daggag, general manager of destinations at Sela, said the partnership was designed to welcome the global yachting community to Jeddah and introduce visitors to experiences unique to the Red Sea.
