The Monegasque Red Cross Gala held its 77th edition on July 18, 2026, once again at the Salle des Etoiles inside Sporting Monte Carlo, cementing its place as one of the most prestigious fixtures on Monaco's summer calendar. The gala raises funds for the Red Cross's humanitarian work and has done so annually for more than three quarters of a century.

This year's edition introduced several new elements to a format that has otherwise stayed fairly consistent for decades, including a 360 degree arrival experience for guests and a dinner prepared to Michelin starred standard, drawing on the same concentration of decorated kitchens that has made Monaco's dining scene one of the most recognised in the world.

The evening's musical programme, billed as SOUL!, traced Afro American music from its earlier eras through to the present, giving the gala a live entertainment centrepiece distinct from the formal dinner and dancing that typically anchor Monaco's other major galas. Fireworks closed out the night, a customary finish for the principality's largest outdoor and semi outdoor events.

As in most years, the gala drew committed philanthropists and celebrities from well beyond Monaco's borders, alongside the ruling family, whose presence at the Red Cross Gala has been a fixture of the event for decades. The gala's continuity, much like the Rose Ball earlier in the year, is part of what gives Monaco's social calendar its shape: a small number of long running fixtures that international society has learned to plan its year around.
