A centuries old palazzo rising directly from the water and recognised as a National Monument, Ca' Sagredo has kept the spirit of a Venetian noble residence, and its monumental staircase, painted ceilings and historic art collection turned the evening into a journey through a living museum, with presentations and personal encounters unfolding from room to room. The evening's leading partner was the niche fragrance house Young Voyage, and it was its founder, Nadine Ahmad, who opened the presentations for the guests. She introduced Musk Thé, the debut fragrance of the house, released in a strictly limited edition of exactly one thousand bottles and conceived as an intimate, restrained signature rather than a scent that demands attention. Behind that quietness lies a two year trademark battle in which Ahmad defended the Young Voyage name against the French luxury group Hermès and prevailed, refusing to surrender a single letter. What she carried into Ca' Sagredo was a fragrance born out of a very public fight and made to be worn in private. Among the honoured guests was German couture designer Christina Duxa, Founder & Creative Director of AI Filmfest Athens, whose Bavarian atelier has been producing her collections since 2009. Flowing silk, crêpe de Chine and chiffon, restrained colour and precise tailoring have made her label a fixture of the Munich and Berlin fashion calendars, while her Ladies Lunch and Lovely Friends Fashion Lunch series, hosted over the years by presenter Frauke Ludowig, have raised funds for the German Stroke Foundation under the patronage of Liz Mohn. In Venice, she brought that same pairing of elegance and purpose to the Grand Canal. Jewellery came from the Austrian house Oliver Weber Collection, Official Jewellery Partner of the evening, represented by Lidia Weber, Director of Special Projects. Present in more than fifty international markets, the house unveiled its new Dolce Vita Collection inside the palazzo, a line of Swarovski crystal pieces drawn from reflections across the lagoon, from Carnival and from the changing Venetian light, worn through the evening against the very frescoes that inspired them. From Bulgaria came LABOR8, the conceptual luxury beauty brand founded by Velichka Gospodinova, recipient of the Special Talent Award at the International Investment Congress Awards. Built around the idea of awakening eight human senses, LABOR8 draws niche perfumery, aesthetics, astrology and sensory identity into fragrances tied to personal energy, emotional individuality and inner experience, and has grown into one of the fastest rising names in European niche beauty. Gospodinova came to Venice with her partner Victoria Dimitrova of Leden8, also from Sofia, who joined the evening as a sponsor. Rather than a large ceremonial gala, the organisers had chosen something closer to a private evening among friends, in which the guest circle, the presentations and the historic interiors formed one carefully composed narrative.
